SIS @Ha Long recently donated 30 computers to Dao Thanh Y ethnic minority students at Bang Ca Primary and Secondary School. The school, is located in the mountainous region of Bang Ca Commune, Hoanh Bo District and Quang Ninh Province. SIS @ Ha Long is confident that these new computers will help students study more effectively and will also open up a whole new exciting world of innovation and technology to them.
Through this CSR initiative, Singapore International School aims to narrow the technological development gap between regions in the province.
Bang Ca Commune is located only 30 kilometers from Ha Long City and it faces several challenges. With 97% of its students being Dao Thanh Y ethnic minority, it is one of the key schools that requires much assistance. SIS @ Ha Long’s heartfelt donation has opened a new door of knowledge for students here and continues its meaningful volunteer activities which also includes the “All Your Heart Charity” project of Van Lang Primary, Secondary and High School taken place in January 2023.
